Brockport students recognized during Urban Suburban Virtual Award Ceremony
On June 15, Urban Suburban students throughout Monroe County were recognized during the Urban Suburban Virtual Awards Ceremony.
Student Awards were presented to some of our Brockport students enrolled in the Urban Suburban program.

Core Four Awards were presented to students with an average grade for three marking periods of 80-89 in all four core subjects: math, science, English and social studies. Students from Oliver Middle School (OMS) receiving a Core Four Award include: LeVar Colquitt, Mary Hedman, Michael Martinez, Londyn Newton, Emilio Paredes, Octavius Ruiz-Quintana, Ezekiel Sanchez and Tyler Seth.

Academic Achievement Awards were presented to students with an average grade for three marking periods of 90-94 in all four core subjects. OMS students receiving Academic Achievement Awards include: Londyn Newton, Rihanna Ngimbi and Savannah Vanoost.

Academic Excellence Awards were presented to students with an average grade for three marking periods of 95 or higher in all four core subjects. Students from OMS receiving an Academic Excellence Award include: Za’Mirah Aiken and Isaac Kingsley.

Principal Awards were presented to students in any grade level who participate with classmates, teachers and school leaders in an effort to reduce minority group isolation, work to the best of their ability to achieve academic excellence and demonstrate good citizenship. OMS Principal Jerrod Roberts honored Isaac Kingsley with the 2023 Principal Award.
