The Brockport Central School District Art Program provides all students with access to high-quality visual-arts education through creating, presenting, responding to, and connecting with art. Art education teaches creativity, cooperation, discipline, and analysis, while also developing positive outlets for self-expression.

STANDARDS FOR ARTISTIC PRACTICE:  

1. Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them.   
2. Reason creatively.   
3. Use appropriate tools strategically.  
4. Construct positive viable arguments while critiquing your work and the work of others.  
5. Refine techniques.
